On this International Working Women’s Day, the International Migrants Alliance reaffirms our commitment to fight side by side all women migrants and refugees against imperialist exploitation, war and conflict, and fascism. 

Everywhere, women migrants and refugees suffer heavier burdens and further erosion of their rights in all fronts caused by the multiple economic, political and environmental crises brought about and exacerbated by imperialism.

[STATEMENT] Stand With Iran. Stop the US-Israel Imperialist War Machine. Protect Migrants and Refugees.

The bombing in Iran has killed hundreds of people, most of them are children and civilians. The aggression is part of the Israel-US renewed war to dominate the West Asia region and plunder their resources. As a response,Iran bombed several US military bases in neighboring countries. For decades, the United States has armed, funded, and protected Israel’s military actions while destabilizing West Asia through sanctions, interventions, and war. The result is endless violence, displacement, and suffering for ordinary people.

[STATEMENT] IMA Statement on International Human Rights Day

On this International Human Rights Day, the International Migrants Alliance believes it is necessary to reaffirm a message that each year becomes  more urgent to emphasize: Migrants Rights are Human Rights. Among these rights, which states must recognize and protect, are those related to the dignity, security, equality and freedom of persons. The rights to live, work, move, and seek environments of greater safety and well-being are fundamental human rights, and no government or border should strip people of these protections.
