[STATEMENT] IMA Canada Statement on Amazon's Decision to Shut Down Quebec Plants
We unequivocally condemn Amazon's recent decision to close its Quebec plants, a move that is a direct attack on the rights of workers to organize and unionize. The closure of all plants in Quebec not only jeopardizes the livelihoods of countless employees but also sends a chilling message to workers everywhere: that standing together for fair treatment and better working conditions can lead to retaliation by Amazon bosses.

[STATEMENT] International Migrants Alliance (IMA) Europe: Unite for Justice—Stop War, Fund People
The wars that the different imperialisms are carrying out in the world for a new geopolitical redistribution are forcing millions of people to flee.
Europe has maintained a position of total servility towards the USA. On the other hand, the migratory policies in Europe, with the rise of the right wing in many European countries, have provoked an intensification of anti-immigrant policies.

In August 2024, 100 women from the Philippines arrived in South Korea. They participated in a caregiver program held for the first time by the South Korean and Philippine governments, aimed at providing "assistance" to mothers or expectant mothers. The Korean government believes that this program will be able to address the problem of the sharply declining birth rate in their country. With a promised salary of up to USD 1,750 per month and a working time of 30 hours a week, these young women left their families in the Philippines.

Unity Statement of the International Solidarity Conference on War, Militarism and Displacement
Peace is not merely the temporary absence of war. The wars and conflicts that beset our world require us to look at and study the root causes of war so as to identify a genuine path away from the catastrophic state the world is in.
